However, the £8.2m-rated man hasn’t had much chance to prove himself as a good choice of deputy yet, having made just one appearance for the Reds so far.
Although he may be out of action, with no return date in sight so far, Tsimikas is ensuring he shows fans that he is completely behind his team, even if he isn’t able to physically help achieve the results. This type of passion is something that will hugely benefit the squad in the absence of Robertson and hopefully he gets another chance to showcase this soon. It will also get the fans onside, as they will love that he has already bought into the Liverpool spirit.
