da casino: According to reports in The Telegraph, Tottenham Hotspur are ready to bid £35m for Fulham winger Ryan Sessegnon this summer and are confident of getting him, but it could take a bid of nearer £50m if they want to sign the teenager.
What’s the word, then?
da 888casino: Well, The Telegraph says that while Spurs are ready to splash the cash to bring the talented 17-year-old, who has scored 20 goals in 67 games for Fulham, to north London at the end of the season, the Championship side already value the player at around £50m and will put up a big fight to keep him if they are promoted to the Premier League – they currently lie in the play-off positions.
The Telegraph says that while Manchester United are also interested in the versatile left-sided player, Mauricio Pochettino’s men believe they are the frontrunners for the England U19 international.
How has Sessegnon done this season?
He has been brilliant.
In spite of his tender years, the teenager has shown the quality he has and he scored his 13th goal of the season for his team in 34 Championship appearances as they beat leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0 at the weekend.
Even though the 17-year-old has played either as a left-back or left winger this term, only Sergio Aguero has scored more than the youngster across the top four division in England in 2018.

Would he be a good signing for Spurs?
He certainly would be.
Sessegnon is one of the most talented young players in England right now and that is shown by the fact that he has already made 67 appearances for Fulham.
The teenager has shown that he is mature and can deal with the pressure of playing week in, week out in the Championship, while he is delivering in terms of goals and assists on a regular basis.
The 17-year-old would likely need to play in a more advanced role if he did join Tottenham this summer, although Mauricio Pochettino may feel that he could be Danny Rose’s long-term replacement and compete with Ben Davies for the left-back spot.
Will they get him?
Whether Fulham go up or stay down Spurs will be confident of luring him to north London, but they will have to pay the big bucks to get their man.
