da bet7: Tottenham Hotspur fans may be itching for new signings to come through the door, but Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp believes that the club are not desperate for fresh faces.
da marjack bet: It has been very quiet in the Spurs part of North London with regards to transfers as the club are yet to strengthen their squad.
As expected, they have been linked to numerous names, but it does not appear that manager Mauricio Pochettino is close to bringing in a new addition.
Redknapp, though, thinks that the team are already well-equipped for another Premier League title campaign, as well as a push in the Champions League.
The ex-Spurs player believes that there are stars in every position on the field, and when you factor in Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Mousa Dembele, Toby Alderweireld and Hugo Lloris, it is hard to argue.
Redknapp told Sky Sports:
“I’m not so worried about Tottenham. I said this at the end of last season but for Spurs it’s probably the most difficult for them to acquire players because they’ve got it all there. They are the team who face the hardest task buying players. If you can go and get someone to maybe take the burden off Dele Alli in the number 10 role or strengthen in one of the wide areas, I can see that but it is a bit more difficult with Tottenham. If anything they just need to thicken the squad up.”
Tottenham finished as runners-up to league champions Chelsea last season, and the pressure will be on for them to take that step further next season.
