da pinup bet: A huge majority of the Birmingham fans that answered our recent poll want Garry Monk to sell goalkeeper David Stockdale in January, even if that means losing him to a Championship rival.
The Blues boss recently told the Birmingham Mail that none of his players were for sale in the winter transfer window, but he may have to revise this in order to get Stockdale off the wage bill, especially as the stopper has been frozen out of the side since the summer.
So far this season, the 33-year-old Englishman has spent two emergency loan spells away from St Andrew’s, with Wycombe Wanderers and Southend United respectively, but he is now back in Birmingham and training with the academy once again.

Recently, Leeds United were linked with a January move for Stockdale, and it’s clear that Birmingham fans just want him off the wage bill as the club battle with Financial Fair Play regulations, with 92 per cent urging Monk to move him on in January.
