Indeed, it looks like Milner has been enjoying his time away from the game to the fullest.
His latest snap showed him playing golf in Spain and as he raised a glass or two in the photos, other stars were quick to jump into the comment section to reply to his post with a combination of banter and support.
Joe Hart, his former Man City teammate, was among the first to reply and so was Jamie Redknapp, both of whom were quite impressed by Milner’s snap and they shared some emojis and messages to show it.
Steph Houghton, captain of both Man City Women’s and the England national side, decided to joke around a bit and called the duo out for their questionable golfing ability.
There were others, bigger and smaller footballing names, who joined in on the fun and were either bantering or complimenting Milner along the way.
Milner managed 31 appearances in the Premier League last season, scoring and assisting five goals apiece in the process.
With his contract expiring next summer, it will be interesting to see what the Reds decide to do as the season progresses.
